What Cherng Talay is, and is not
Cherng Talay is the subdistrict that contains Bang Tao, Layan and Surin beaches and the whole Laguna resort complex. It is where Phuket’s long-stay foreign residents actually live rather than holiday: international schools, supermarkets, clinics, and the Boat Avenue and Porto de Phuket retail strips. The trade-off for a project in the middle of it is honest and simple — you get the infrastructure at walking-to-driving distance, and you do not get the sea.

Straight talk
The honest trade-off
- You drive to the beach. Nine minutes to Bang Tao. Not walkable, and there is no shuttle promised.
- Srisoonthorn Road is a main road. The site entrance is on a soi off it, which helps, but the junction is busy at school runs.
- Cherng Talay is building. The master plan marks the adjoining land “future development”. Ask what is approved next door before you choose a west-facing unit.
- What you gain: everyday life inside four minutes, and a price per square metre well below the Bang Tao beach strip.

Five rai, two buildings, one courtyard
The buildings form an L around the pool garden, with parking pushed to the outer edges and the lobby, gym and co-working strip along the north side. The access road runs 150 metres in from Soi Cherngtalay 3, which puts the residential blocks well back from the main road.
